How does a milk frother work?

Frothing milk involves a process that introduces air into the chemical properties of milk to create the light and airy product of frothed or foamed milk.

Warm Foam

Multifunctional Frother

Whole milk is recommended (Fat content>3%)

The SCA recommends heating milk to 139–149°F(55–65°C ) with a maximum temperature of 158°F(70°C ) and minimum of 122°F(50°C). At this temperature, the amount of whey protein denaturation is ideal for the best adsorption on the surface of air bubbles, so your foam will be stable.

While frothing, make sure to pour the milk to the max line(not the top but the lower one), to avoid overflowing. Use a whisk without a spring to heat milk.
