OVERVIEW
The Vital Swing is a low-impact, passive aerobic exercise machine and circulation machine. The concept is based on principles of traditional Chinese medicine and is designed to balance the natural energy in our bodies. The motion of the Vital Swing leads to increased blood flow in the legs and the end up through the back, which can relieve pain, increase circulation, improve lymphatic drainage and provide many other benefits.
Many people find the Vital Swing exercise soothing and use it as a calming way to start their nighttime routine as well as an energizing way to start their mornings.
USE

Before using your Vital Swing Therapeutic Wellness Machine, dress in comfortable clothing but remove socks and shoes if you plan to use the red lights.

You should drink a glass of water, but avoid having a meal right before your session to avoid heartburn.

Plug in your Vital Swing and stretch controller to where you can reach it when lying down. Be sure your support disk and pad are also within reach.

With your feet over the red lights, set your ankles in the padded ankle rests, just above your ankle bone.

Stretch out so that you are lying flat with your ankles in the rests. Place the support disk with pad under your bottom so that your body makes a straight line with your shoulders resting firmly on the floor. You may put your arms to your side, straight over your head, or bent with your hands under your neck, whichever is most comfortable for you.
FOR SWING EXERCISING

Press the SWING button to start swing motion.

Use the +/- buttons to increase or decrease the swing speed. Ideal swing speed will vary based on your height and weight; the rhythm should rock your body in an “S” motion from your ankles to your shoulders. Relax your body and adjust speed up or down to find your ideal swing speed.

Press the TIMER button to set a specific exercise time. You should start with 2–3 minutes until your body becomes strong enough to handle longer times. You can work up to 15 minutes per session. Once you have finished your swing exercises, remain lying on the floor for another 1–2 minutes before getting up; you have just increased your circulation and you might feel lightheaded or odd if you try to stand immediately. Your Vital Swing will automatically turn off at the end of the timer.
Use your Vital Swing only 1–2 times per day.

Research has shown that 10 minutes on the Vital Swing has the circulation effects of a one-hour walk. When you first begin using the Vital Swing, you may notice tiredness or soreness, just like when you begin other exercise programs. Your body will adjust and these negative effects should decrease after regular use.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Always unplug your Vital Swing Therapeutic Wellness Machine before cleaning.

Wipe surfaces with damp cloth using a mild cleaner or antibacterial wipes. Do not use harsh cleaners on ankle rests.

Check for broken or loose electrical wires or any damage to the plug before use.

The support disk pad must be hand washed and should not be put in the laundry machine. Lay flat to dry.
