Air Conditioners

💡Things to Keep in Mind

  • Choose the correct BTU capacity based on the size of the room.

  • Install the outdoor unit in a well-ventilated area.
  • Ensure the condensate drain has proper drainage.
  • Avoid placing the outdoor unit in direct sunlight whenever possible.
  • Clean the air filters every 2 to 4 weeks.
Refrigerators & Freezers

💡Things to Keep in Mind

  • After transportation, let the refrigerator stand upright for 4–24 hours before plugging it in.
  • Leave sufficient space around the appliance for proper airflow.
  • Do not place it next to an oven or stove.
  • Set the refrigerator temperature to approximately 4°C (39°F).
  • Set the freezer temperature to approximately -18°C (0°F).

🛠 Installation Tips

  • After transportation, allow the refrigerator to stand upright for 24 hours before switching it on.
  • Leave sufficient space around the appliance for proper airflow.
  • Place the refrigerator on a level surface.
Washers

  • Ensure the washing machine is perfectly level.
  • Remove the transport bolts before first use.
  • Use a dedicated grounded electrical outlet.
  • Check that the water pressure is sufficient.
  • Clean the lint filter and drain pump regularly.

🛠 Installation Tips

  • For front-load washers, remove the transport bolts before installing the washing machine.
  • For top-load washers, remove all protective foam and plastic covers before first use.
  • Ensure the washing machine is perfectly level. Adjust all four feet to prevent excessive vibration.
  • The drain hose should be installed at a minimum height of 60 cm from the floor.
  • A hydrofoor (water pressure system) is recommended to ensure adequate water supply and proper performance.
Clothes Dryers

  • Ensure the dryer has adequate ventilation.
  • Empty the condensate water tank regularly (for condenser dryers).
  • Clean the lint filter after every drying cycle.
  • Avoid overloading the dryer.

🛠 Installation Tips

  • A 220V dryer requires:
    • 220V power supply
    • 4 x 4 mm² electrical cable
    • 2-phase, neutral and earth connection
  • Installation should include either:
    • a dedicated disconnect switch, or
    • a Perilex outlet.
  • Ensure the installation area is well ventilated.
Dishwasher

  • Connect the dishwasher correctly to both the water supply and drain.
  • Use dishwasher salt if required.
  • Use rinse aid for improved drying performance.
  • Clean the filters regularly.
  • Do not overload the dishwasher.

🛠 Installation Tips

  • European dishwashers must be connected to a cold water supply, as they have their own heating element.
  • American dishwashers must be connected to a hot water supply.
  • Do not remove the insulating fabric (blanket) around the dishwasher. It helps reduce noise and improves thermal insulation.
  • Ensure both the water supply and drain hose are correctly connected before first use.
Gas Ranges

  • Install only with an approved gas connection.
  • Check for gas leaks after installation.
  • Ensure the kitchen is well ventilated.

Cooktops

🛠 Installation Tips Gas Cooktop

  • American and European models may require the burner jets (nozzles) to be changed to match the local gas type.
  • The gas regulator must be properly adjusted during installation.
  • Conversion from butane gas to propane gas may be required.
  • Built-in gas cooktops must not be completely sealed into the countertop, as proper ventilation is required.
  • Professional installation is recommended.

  • Requires a 2-phase, neutral, and earth connection.
  • Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician and in accordance with local electrical regulations.
Electric Built-in Ovens
