On the other hand, twin tub washing machine, as its name implies, has two separate tubs located next to each other – one used for washing and the other for spin drying. This semi-automatic type of washing machine requires you to manually move your laundry from one tub to another during the washing and drying process.
To put it simply, a twin tub is cheaper, easier to use, and does not require a high water pressure to work. However, it doesn’t have a lot of features that makes it less convenient than a fully automatic washing machine.
You can use both sides at once. While you’ll still need to hang out the clothes out after, the spin tub aims to remove most of the moisture with a 5-minute cycle.
