Definitely a great deal for the price. I had one similar to this one many years ago and used it everyday. When I got this one, my family and I went through a whole loaf of bread in nothing flat! Love it, love it, love it! Everyone in the house uses it from breakfast to dinner. I only have one tip: VERY lightly butter the bread, it makes the sandwiches taste better
